Oh my God! He's back!
Yes, it has been a while since I've updated this silly thing, but I assure you that the period of silence has been filled with many productive activities. For one thing, I finished my novel, and have been hard at work on polishing and copy-editing. Also, I'm in the process of recording and mixing some new songs which I plan to put up on a My Space page in the near future. Since I use Garageband, I thought about placing some of my music on Mac Idol, but chances are I won't do that. Mac Idol is all about competing and critiquing, and the music I create is primarily for my own enjoyment.
And in case you've been following my previous posts, I was offered a job! Wait, don't cheer just yet. I politely turned it down, as it involved working the graveyard shift (10PM-6AM), and since I'm pulling a full class schedule this quarter, I realized that accepting the job would inevitably mean factoring sleep out of my life, basically making it a certainty that I would fail at work AND school. So the job search continues! And since I'll be spending a great deal of time in Riverside, that opens up a whole new job market I haven't yet touched.
Anyway, I know it's been forever since I've published any political pieces, but I assure you I'm working on a few as we speak. I'll try to have something up by Thursday. In the meantime, I refer you to this fantastic article by Bruce Bartlett regarding our administration's trigger-happy spending habits. http://www.townhall.com/columnists/brucebartlett/bb20050927.shtml
